Machine Learning, Art and Conquering Dyslexia
Convolutional Neural Networks – sounds like a hazy intermix of Biology, Math & a bit of Computer Science sprinkled in it. However, these networks have fueled some of the most influential innovations in the field of Computer Vision in recent times. Based on a neural algorithm of artistic style, this session focuses on problems faced by dyslexic individuals and proposes a novel learning pedagogy that links art, the visual learning process and deep learning as an assistive technology. We demonstrate how teachers of learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia can use this medium to create visually engaging classroom collaterals.
